2002 Mead Honored Professors

Created by former students of retired Music professor Ernest "Boots" Mead, the Mead Endowment sponsors programs that encourage faculty to "walk in the footsteps of Boots," by being actively involved with students and student life. In September 2002, the Mead Endowment honored the following outstanding faculty members for their work with students, providing funds for each to host a catered dinner with students: Brian Balogh, History; Kate Burke, Drama; Claire Cronmiller, Biology; Cassandra Fraser, Chemistry; Ellen Fuller, Women's Studies and Sociology; Jeff Holt, Mathematics; Adria LaViolette, Anthropology; Steve Majewski, Astronomy; Maurie McInnis, Art; Brooks Pate, Chemistry.
