State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) Outstanding Faculty Award

Qualifications
The Commonwealth's highest honor for faculty at Virginia's colleges and universities recognizes a record that strongly reflects the mission of the institution and demonstrated excellence in teaching, research and service.

General Information
$5,000 (U.Va. may submit up to ten nominations). The Teaching Awards Committee will choose these nominees from among all faculty nominated for any teaching award.

Nomination Process and requirements
Nomination dossiers must follow the Faculty Teaching Awards guidelines linked below. Those chosen for submission to the Outstanding Faculty Awards (OFA) Selection Committee will be asked later to expand the dossiers to conform to SCHEV guidelines (which are found here).
